Joey Landreth is a longtime Revv collaborator & award-winning touring & recording artist known for his baritone slide playing, impeccable phrasing, & deep appreciation of high quality guitar gear. The D25 JL features the same boutique tube clean / edge of breakup tones & direct performance technology as the D25 with custom voicing tweaks for Joey as well as his unique aesthetic choices exclusive to this amp. Your response to the D25 JL blew us away. Its quickly become a fan-favorite, so we wanted to provide another option with this limited edition 'Brownface' colorway.

Versatile 'clean' tones
Revv's Dynamis clean tone is inspired by the classic Californian amps heard on countless albums with a few key changes. The Bright switch unlocks extra high end chime essential to so many genres. We say 'clean' tones because it has a wide gain range that can get quite crunchy but always stays together. We also took inspiration from D-style amps for a character in the mids that always cuts through.

Reactive Load & IRs
The D25 JL is a great tube amp to crank through Joey's preferred RV90 speaker. Do you have to use the direct capabilities? No. Will you want to? Yep. The XLR-out provides a consistent mix-ready tone that still feels  & sounds like a tube amp - because it is! It works great for silent stages, recording, headphone practice & you can even edit & load your own IRs & add post-FX.

Joey's custom mods
Joey's style calls for a tight low end & fast attack that can handle lots of pedals & effects. The D25 JL has voicing changes to achieve a warm but clear sound. While slide in Open C with 19-65 gauge strings may sound niche, many players of all kinds told us they really liked the midrange of Joey's custom voicing & found that it excels at slightly dirty tones.

Classic & modern
The D25 JL is the most convenient combination of tube amp tone & direct performance capabilities we offer. The combo format & Torpedo-embedded XLR-out mean you can play loud or quietly with no extra equipment. It's lightweight, takes pedals great, has built in reverb, a buffered FX loop, can be switched down to 5W, & you can even footswitch the gain boost if you like.

Joey has been an important influence at Revv since almost the very beginning.
