AMPLIFICATORE VALVOLARE REVV D20-TS TOLEX HARDSHELL in GOLD WESTERN LIMITED EDITION CUSTOM TOLEX
20/4-Watt Tube Head with TWO NOTES TORPEDO, IR and REACTIVE LOAD
Think you need a cabinet to achieve an awesome miked-cab tone? Not if you’re playing through a Revv D20 amp head. Make no mistake, the Revv D20 is an all-tube amp head — with glowing-hot 6V6s and 12AX7s to prove it — but thanks to embedded reactive load and virtual cabinet tech from Two Notes, the cab is optional.
You get all the usual character shaping, including a 3-band EQ, Volume and Gain controls, along with a push-pull gain pot for a crunchier voicing and a power-reduction circuit to attain cranked-amp sounds at lower volumes. A buffered series FX loop sweetens the pot. The Revv D20 is an amp with tons of modern features, but at the end of the day, it’s just a great-sounding amp — take it for a test drive, and you’ll agree.
EMBEDDED TWO NOTES
With just the Revv D20 and a PA, you have everything you need to obtain a larger-than-life miked-cab tone. Built-in technology from the cabinet-emulation masters at Two Notes provides you with six customizable virtual cabinets selectable via the amp’s front panel. If that’s not enough for you, you can access up to 128 via MIDI as well. You can use the Revv D20’s 6V6-loaded power amp or bypass it and change the amp’s character with a simulated power section. KT66s? 6L6s? EL84s? EL34s? The options are endless! Best of all, Revv D20 is a complete standalone solution — a reactive load automatically engages when a speaker isn’t present to safeguard your amp. Whether you go direct to FOH, an audio interface, or headphones, the D20 delivers awesome tone.
REALLY PLAYER FRIENDLY
The Revv D20 is loaded with everything a guitarist could want. A 3-band EQ, and Volume and Gain controls give you tons of basic sound shaping. Want something a bit rowdier? A push-pull gain pot gives the Revv D20 a crunchier voice. A power-reduction circuit enables you to nail cranked tones at appropriate volume levels. A buffered series FX loop makes integrating your pedals and other external effects a piece of cake. The Revv D20 plays well with a variety of cabinets, thanks to a switchable 4/8-ohm speaker jack. You also get an easily accessible bias test and fuse.
KILLER TUBE PRESETS
It’s easy to get distracted by the Revv D20’s endless bells and whistles, but even without its modern feature set, it’s a killer amp. And it should be — its tones were dialed in by Nashville session pros. If you bypass all the embedded tech and cranked it up, you can only conclude that the D20 is a winner. Its clean tones are warm and inspiring, and they make a top-notch platform for gain pedals. Its crunch tones are bluesy and gritty, and when hot-rodded with an overdrive, downright raging. And the Revv D20's straightforward front-panel controls give you a lot of tonal space to maneuver in.
