In 2023, Revv and Joey Landreth introduced the D25 JL Edition, and it quickly became a hit. Players loved Joey’s input on voicing, the brighter top end, onboard reverb, and the ability to footswitch the gain boost. Almost immediately, people began asking for the same amp in a head format.

So we took the same voicing that made the D25 JL special and built it into the new D20 Joey Landreth Edition—with expanded headroom and all the features players loved, now in the ultra-portable head format. With a built-in reactive load and Two notes Torpedo IR technology, the D20 JL is ready for stage, studio, or home, whether you’re plugged into a cabinet or running direct.

You get all the usual character shaping, including a 3-band EQ, Volume and Gain controls, along with a push-pull gain pot for a crunchier voicing and a power-reduction circuit to attain cranked-amp sounds at lower volumes. A buffered series FX loop sweetens the pot. The Revv D20 MK2 is an amp with tons of modern features, but at the end of the day, it’s just a great-sounding amp — take it for a test drive, and you’ll agree.

EMBEDDED TWO NOTES
With just the Revv D20 MK2 and a PA, you have everything you need to obtain a larger-than-life miked-cab tone. Built-in technology from the cabinet-emulation masters at Two Notes provides you with six customizable virtual cabinets selectable via the amp’s front panel. If that’s not enough for you, you can access up to 128 via MIDI as well. You can use the Revv D20’s 6V6-loaded power amp or bypass it and change the amp’s character with a simulated power section. KT66s? 6L6s? EL84s? EL34s? The options are endless! Best of all, Revv D20 is a complete standalone solution — a reactive load automatically engages when a speaker isn’t present to safeguard your amp. Whether you go direct to FOH, an audio interface, or headphones, the D20 delivers awesome tone.
